Ahh yes... there was one of these featured on the Autospeed.com newsletter recently.. I managed to save all of the pics from the article even though I don't actually pay for them..
Rod.. if you'd like some of them I can send them over in a ZIP file..

Acutally, this topic sparked an interest for me.. I went searching on the net after reading this initially and found this comprehensive page.. Could be worth a bit of a look.. 1990 Mazda Cosmo (http://me.a-spec.ca:6001/Past/Rotary/90Cosmo.html)
ENJOY :D Some nice pics and good information..

Oh for a JC,
This is what I have to be content with (http://me.a-spec.ca:6001/Past/Rotary/81Luce.html)
Their is too much electronic chicanery to convert a JC to a five cog with no speed limiters.

Oh.. I just found a little article that featured the concept "Cosmo Sport" that is modelled on the original Cosmo 110s.. very nice machine. I would like one of these for an "old-skool" cool feel.. BTW.. i know that it has MX5 floorplan and underpinnings.. similar panels too [see doors]

Mazda did build a very small number of 20B manual 929 sedans - I expect they were built by the Skunk works mob for a bit of fun to challenge M5 BMWs etc.
An Aussie journalist of there in the early 90's drive one... Apparently breaking traction in 3rd wasn't a problem ;)

Only two of the 20B 929s were ever registered in Australia, a friend of mine once worked for Mazda in Sydney and got to drive one for an evening
Gotta luv those thruster tail lights, personaly I'd go with rims with less bling
