blue indicators are illegal!!!!!!!!
exterior lights can only be white or amber, so if you get pulled over, you will get defected for sure
please be careful guys, they look cool, I wanted green indicators on the noble green BA but was warned that it is HIGHLY illegal......
*kitty worries about her guys*

Couldn't have green lights showing anywhere - thats why I went for green neons (that and I got them for next to nothing).

hey dude,
i'm the one you stopped to have a chat to the other day with the black sp20.
just wondering if doing this affects how well your lights operate. surely colouring the chrome insert black would have to affect the light projected on to the road?
i know the new mazda 3 has this already done stock but i heard that the black material they use is reflective and won't affect how well the lights perform.
just a thought cuz i really want to do this to my car.

justin!!!
well thats why i used shiny black paint....
but really it shouldn't effect it... its the rear reflectors that do all the work really!!!
cruise next weekend???

its not that easy i can asure you
thats why he said not to blame him if u do damage to ur lights
couple off reasons why is
too much heat the lense will warp
not enough heat an you will not seperate the glue properly leading to breaking the plastic edges

too much heat the lense will warp
I did notice in that article that it doesn't specify a heat range.. I would use caution and heat it up gradually..

Instead of sandin down the chrome, why dont u paint on top. not to much tho. it will
give a shadow chrome look. my mate done it to his rear clear lights on his honda and looks unreal.
just an idea :)

well tap the front case... its thermoplastic... ie can't melt (yeah alright enough heat it will we are talking about a long time at high temps!!!), and should only scratch when its dropped....
