And last weeks project is finally finished … kinda (still got to hook up the air con lights)

Basically the plan was to paint the surrounds on my dash silver and here is the result

As you can see the rubber thing on the knob (no not that knob) had to go

Primer and Top coat - $11.98 per can
Paint - $2.70 per can

i can still see the crack in the dash nate, we shall need to fix that up!!! but i agree that came up really good!!!!

I am surprised the astina had that stupid rubber cover for the gear stick. even mums 95 barina comes standard with a leather one

don't have much of an interior shot, and that is without my footwell neonzzzzzzz

will take new pics when I get my rear window sticker on.....

(I'm doing it HI-RES, one day!!!)

i had green neons in the footwell - until someone stole them (and did $1200 damage in the process :( )

Yep and it gets better. Basically the story is I parked the astina outside hte mechanics workshop (not on his porperty so no insurance from him) and it got broken into over night. They samshed the rear window, cracked the winscreen and put a deep nick in the paint. they didnt touch the radio (only a stock one but sitll) or all the boats next door with CB radios and cd players, but wait this is the best bit, the old saab next to it which was unlocked and had the keys in it and they didnt touch it!
