Just bought a set of 17"x8" DRIFT R wheels by ROH with an offset of +30.

Anyone has tried similar size and offset on a mazda SP20.

I know the front will be find, but doubt the rear.

Also anyone has tried tyre stretching?
I want to run 215/45/17 in the front

and 195/40/17 rear..

I think u will rub like a monster and y do u want different size tyres do u track the car if it's just everyday driving just do 215 all round so u can rotate your wheels for more even wear

because of the rubbing, thats why i want to go 195 at the back which when fitted on the 17"x8" wheels will stretch.

Rolled your rear guards?

It is already rolled, might need to get rolled a bit more.

i know it will drive fine with no passengers, but dunno with passengers.

thats why i want to find someone who is running 17x8 +30.

I think Jake has 16x8 +30 enkei's on his sp20, he said he had to roll the rear guards a sh!t load to get them in without rolling.

I plan on running 17x8 +35 work meisters when I get them back from the painters. From my research you will need an aggressive guard roll and camber bolts to try and add some negative camber back there...

Also in relation to tyre size, I recommend (and plan to run) 205/40/17 all round as it is the closest to the standard rolling diameter, allows you to rotate the wheels and provides a little amount of stretch on an 8" inch wide rim to help them tuck in.

EDIT: Just realised your last post was a few months ago.. How did you go, did you end up getting them to fir and what tyres did you go...??
