Lexus-look wiper blade holders. Impossible to get from Lexus as their parts department are dicks. These just clip to your standard wiper arms

Yep, looks like they do - http://page3.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c330409679
Slightly more expensive though - I'd say an extra $4 in the end.

Can you get Toyota Kluger Rupey?

Hmm, seller doesn't seem to list any Toyotas at all....odd. Maybe because these are Lexus copies!

If you know the approximate length of each wiper blade, i can find something with the same sizing amongst another car i'd reckon.

All sent.

Further to bulk shipping to QLD - it'd be $13 for Regular mail, or $16 for Registered Post when sent individually. Or if you're all happy for them to go to one address, then it'll be around $30 total. Or i can include then in with a courier shipment to one of you for about $5 extra in total.

Ben

Otherwise if chewy rice wants to get it shipped to him its not that far away. I was thinking your a good way into west side lol. Otherwise derb can always get them when he gets his anyways. Also, if we do it this way, do you want me to put the $5 into rupe? Or just slip you a 5'ver when we pick it up?

Hmm, i haven't got you down for any Supergrids at all. It was badges, shipping and Sean i think.

Should be able to do 2 sets for GV/GD though, as they're both 475mm.

And that works well if Cookeh and Derb need 525 ones as i think they do.

to keep it coherent. i doubt id fit a 525 on the rear without trimming down the bottom side, which would be really hard. so a 475 would give me ideal fitment I think. which sucks because that doesnt work with derb :(
edit: ideally i need a 500 to stay stock.

anyone with these wipers getting worn out, I think I found a solution... simply order the rubber inserts from Honda... use the 2008 Accord passenger side, which is 475mm, and CR-Z passenger side which is 525mm :) If you need 450mm, use the new Insight's passenger side

the rubbers are a unique 9mm design, most wiper blades on the market use 6mm, 7mm, or 8mm width... you must use the 9mm width or you will have issues!

EDIT: Honda USA part numbers (I don't know if it works in oz):
76632-TM8-A21 18" (450mm) refill insert
76632-TA0-A02 or 76632-SYP-004 19" (475mm) refill insert
76622-SZT-A01 21" (525mm) refill insert

it looks like the refills are available from NWB in Japan too...

part numbers:
DW45GN = 450mm
DW48GN = 475mm
DW53GN = 525mm

if you're unsure which one you need, looking at the mounting bracket may help:

NWB says that graphite coated rubber, reduces rubber wear, as well as streaking, and chattering when the wipers are used on Rain-X (silicone water repelling) coated glass. They also say that it also helps reduce the tendency of wearing off the coatings, thus making them last longer! :eek:

so definitely, these Supergrid Aero wipers were worth it. I think it's worth maintaining them with refills too...

so how about a GB with rupe for those refills? ;)
