hay guys just helping a mate out who i believe is getting "taken for a ride" and as i dont have one im not 100% tho...

anyway he has gotten for new tyres on a car he recently bought and the old ones where worn heavily on the inside now the tyres specialist is claiming that his toe is incorrect which is true but he is also saying that it is a common problem the camber is out and that the only way to fix this problem is with camber bolts to adjust... just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or has any idea of something else that could be wrong...

I call BS. The 3s do not have bolts betqeen the struts and uprights.

3s do have excess camber issues on the rear if it is lowered. Bur you need either inner offset bushes or a adjustable arm to correct.

But also depends on the wear. If the inner shoulder, then it's toe. If the inner half of the tread, the camber.

Not too sure on this but I do know that our SP23 has major camber without camber bolts only with king springs. Car had 2°+ in rear and 1.75+ front without camber adjustment bolts.

Yes Mazda 3 bk and focus run almost 1.5 neg camber at factory ride height, and goes over 2 degrees beg when lowered.

You can purchase an adjustable rear camber arm that will rectify this problem
