Hey guys,

Long time lurker, short time poster. Haven't really been active on here that much over past few months but I'm on the facebook page most of the time (Bradley) so I decided I'll start posting stuff here.

Bought my car (first car) last year in June with around 125,000km on the clock and in awesome condition to learn manual in (was more than halfway through L's and both parents have auto's). Now that I'm on my P's it's shot up to 135,000 but she gets treated nicely, and HAIGHIE don't you worry, her limiter gets bashed every now and then.

So far it's been given:
- New rims: Black Asuka Racing wheels (17x7.0" with +40 offset, wrapped in Kumho 215/40Z/R17)
- Sound system:
- Front - 6.5" Kicker splits /w tweeters
- Rear - 6x9" Kicker
- Sub - 12" Kicker
- Amps - Focal 4 channel & Focal Mono block
- HU - Double Din Kenwood (can't remember model)
- Tinted windows
- Sprayed the silver wipers, matte black
- Buffed
- Soapy rubdown every Sunday after work ;)

My plans/wishlist:
- Catback exhaust (2.25" piping and 2.5-3.0" muffler)
- HID's
- DG Carbon grille
- Plasti-dip chrome badges + replace rear 'mazda' with 'madaz' one
- Tint rear lights (just a tad)
- Lamin-x 'gunsmoke' tint for foglights
- Front lip (not Autoexe, more like the black rubber subbie ones)
- Clear indicators
- Spray callipers (blue or red for the extra +25kw yo)
- Dynamat boot (it shakes and parcel shelf rattles from the fully sick bass)
- Some nice stickers (AstinaGT one and few more)
- & probably more things but can't come up with them at the moment

Looking good. I think I thought about buying those rims when I still had the Protege.

I've got a 2.25 cat-back if you're interested, an AEM intake also.

Nice car man :)

Also a good 2.5 inch exhaust with extractors will be the ticket here. Just ask ice88 as we did his last month and the power in rease was AWESOME :)

i reckon go 2.25 and whatever tip you want, i think 2.5 is a bit too big, plus his car has the ze. if that makes a diff? also extractors do good as well :) oh and intake, love induction noise :P

simone, he's car is only the FS-DE,

but yes with the intake nothing beats induction noise, and yes forced induction also counts as inducton noise :)

oh and also car look clean man :) i like the wheels will have to meet up again soon take some photo's :)

Ooh, I thought he must have had some intake on it or something... Is it the AutoExe? Sounds great!

Okay so my front left globes were dead and right ones were on their way and wanted something for now so popped into Supercheap Auto and picked up these (these are just for now, HID's will come when these die)

Mind you my garage lights are on too :P

nice SE20
lol... you have the alarm LED light fitted at the same location as my car's

oh and I think your passenger side mirror isn't adjusted correctly... I can see the whole side of the car... proper adjustment should always so that you can never or barely see the side of the car for maximum visibility and reduced blind spots :) A common mistake for many people is they adjust their side mirrors so that they can see the side and immediate back of the car... it's not needed and is unsafe because if you want to look out the back of your car, use the inside mirror.. if you're trying to make lane changes and want to see what's behind and to the side of you, you use your side mirrors :)

drive safely and take care of this rare car :)

Nice observation mate haha but yes the mirror isn't adjusted properly (just before this I was parking on a main street and the space was really tight) so I adjusted them closer to the car and angled them down a little so I could see the curb as I'm still paranoid about my rims kissing the gutter.
Thanks dude, it will be taken care of.

You just need a circle blind spot mirror for that. They cost like $2 from SCA or Hot Dollar
