Just wishing that all Canberra guys are OK and that you guys weren't affected by the fires at all.

Western [i would imagine that most of..] Victoria today is blanketed in the smokey haze that resulted from Saturday nights blazes....

What a vicious attack. :( :(

i echo your sentiments. i was at a wedding on sunday (no NOT mine :p ) and a few of the guests/grooms mother/etc were from canberra and were ringing family etc all weekend.

Here's hoping the weather cools down and the fires don't get out of control again...and that they get the water treatment plant running again :;):[/color:post_uid0]

No problems so far. But I live right up the top of Canberra so I'm a reasonable distance from the fires.
Given the two degrees of separation nature of Canberra though, just about everyone knows someone who's house is in a danger area. :([/color:post_uid0]

Definately hope everybody is safe and houses have not been taken by this blaze... it is very scary the amount of carnage 6hours of burning can do... Pictures only tell half the story.[/color:post_uid0]

I can't believe how dark it was a 3:30 in Canberra, going by those photos is looked like it was in the middle of the night. Scary indeed!
