Hey guys,

I have a 95 hardtop, with a 12 inch sub.. But i have rattles everywhere now because of it, boot is the worst. Does anyone know how i can stop this cause its ruining my music, also i want to put another 12 in but no point till i can fix the boot.

Only one way to do it.

Strip everything from the boot - EVERYTHING
Start to put things back, one piece at a time and test for rattles and fix 'em as you find 'em.

Else you can TURN DOWN THE VOLUME cos YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON WHO WANTS TO HEAR THAT CRAP :x

u can deaden the boot lining, trim, panels etc with normal sound deadening products, or if its something simple like the plastic trim rattles, try attaching some 5mm foam to the back to stop it touching whatever its rattling against.

i found out what my 'bar' rattle was. you know the two bars under the bottom of the boot lid when open. the plastic bracket snaped and the bars rattle together. ill just put some padding on them.

haha, or i could just attack the bonnet with a mallet?
i like option 2 better cover the thing in foam
