no any idiot cant fit them, u need to have sum sort off electrical knoledge, and the air side off it is not really hard but u have to have a little idea about air systems, as for the struts there easy to install take the old out an in with the new. the compressor is a viair 350c its not that niosy , as for drop time as slow as i cant get so i dont bury my bodykit in the ground before its dead
yeah it sounds like a timely project.

well you installed them rod :p just kidding mate
looks very nice, shame its not lower :) but i love the astina 4wd look!!!
can't wait to see it on a cruise
how heavy is the compressor ? would this extra weight in the back add to traction problems in a front-wheel-drive ?
platypus
21-05-2004, 02:41 PM
if you find traction to be a problem, then your probably doing in right... your probably doing it sideways!!!

no not any probs with traction there is not that much weight added whole tank, switches, fittings an comp is at a guess 20kg's
if that became a problem the beauty off the air bags just pump the rear up to transferr the weight

Rod, I like it...but it could be a little lower! can you set a "lowest" setting on it so you dont smack the car on the ground? How has the handeling of it changed?
