G'day guys,

Yes, I was up at 2.45 to watch the gp...one of the most chaotic gp's i've watched... almost every lap there was a passing move, or incident on turn 3... great race... we crossed the line in P1, but they gave it to Kimi on a 2 lap countback after the race was red flagged... what ****s me is, fisichella passed kimi for P1, and there was no reward... sending them out on intermediates' in the first place was f'n dangerous too... 8 points for Jordan, can't really complain though!

Cheers,

Bill[/color:post_uid0]

Being a McLaren fan i'm very happy with the result... DO feel sorry for jordan though. Although i have a strong feeling he wouln't have won the race if it had continued. He still had a pit stop to make didn't he? so did kimmi.. but coulthard had made a stop alittle earlier and i think coulthard would have won the race. but i'm biased :D

What's going on with shumacher???

We got any other F1 fans here?[/color:post_uid0]

Yep, fully agree that Fisi might not have pulled DC in...but when Rubens was flying away (1.6 seconds a lap) from DC, Fisi was pulling very similar lap times to the ferrari, so no doubt he would have come close. I think Webber would have been very close to a podium spot also, if he kept it on the black stuff... only people who didn't need to pit again were DC and Webber... oh well.[/color:post_uid0]

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Prick! (jokin...)

Do u know how much effort i've gone to NOT hear anything about the GP today? For the first time in many years I couldnt watch it live coz i was off to the airport at 4am. I taped the c9 instead of 10 so couldnt watch it when i got home. My bro did the same. SO, I then am having it delivered by a friend from yonks away just so i can watch it in about an hour. The last place i thought id hear anything was here - its never been mentioned before!
I'll apologise about the prick thing tomorrow :;):[/color:post_uid0]

Was awesome, some very good battles and overtaking, and even better crashes. Poor poor rubinho! Ah well, as long as Coulthard didnt win it doesnt matter. Would have liked to see Webber finish, would have been interesting.[/color:post_uid0]

Ahhh Coulthard - the man that has a pen lodged sideways in his jaw!

But i'd rather see an underdog win that McLaren or Ferrari![/color:post_uid0]

 hahaha... love the pen in jaw comment Rupe.

i was saying to someone the other day.. i think to be a F1 driver you HAVE to have a jaw that's really square.. so many have big jaws... must be somethin to do with all the G forces their pulling...[/color:post_uid0]

I hate Coulthard. Don't know why.... never liked him but when he took Schu out at Spa '98 couldn't stand him. Even if it was an accident. :O[/color:post_uid0]

but it was ok for schumacher to take out damon hill in adelaide in 1995?? schu drives dirty. he thinks he can muscle everybody out of the way...
then today, has a sook because kimi should not have been awarded full points according to schu...he read the FIA guidelines himself, and thinks there is a case there.[/color:post_uid0]

What about the race 2 weeks ago in Malaysia Schu. took out Trulli on one of the corners!

I liked something Jackie Stewart said which was something like.. M. Schuie. can't handle racing under pressure, he makes rookie mistakes.

i hope the ice man wins the championship...[/color:post_uid0]

Ahh well, Schu apologised to Trulli. More than what DC would do.

And with Hill..... If Hill wasn't such an f'in fool, then he would have waited for Schumacher to stop rather than making a rash pass like that. :D I'm only arguing for the hell of it. :;): I don't want Schu to win this year, it's Barrichellos turn. At this rate he'll beat him anyway, but the McLarens are looking pretty good. Especially considering their newcar is meant to be good! (as is the Ferrari.... a second quicker at Fiorano.)[/color:post_uid0]

And SChu was right about the Fisi win thing - F1Live explains it pretty well - if the race was stopped on lap 56, then Fisi won, as he led beginning lap 54. FIA said they stopped it on 55, which means it goes back to lap 53, which is less that 75% race distance and full points cant be given out.

So something has gotta change![/color:post_uid0]

You / Schui. i mite have a point about th2 75% thing, they probably had to make the decision so quikly they didn't really get to sit down and think it through. But i bet you if it was a minardi sitting in McLarens position Schui wouln't care.

But you can't take points away now... what's done is done.

I want to see mark webber up there in the championship points board... he did really well on sunday i think...[/color:post_uid0]

I heard something on the radio about how they stuffed up the lap timing (!) and Fisi was still actually leading when the race was stopped...

or something like that. it was early, and i was half asleep...[/color:post_uid0]

Brazilian Grand Prix Results
The FIA put out the following information today:

'The FIA has received evidence which suggests that, contrary to the information supplied by the time-keepers at the Brazilian Grand Prix, car no. 11 (Fisichella) had started his 56th lap before the race was stopped. If this proves to be the case, the race classification would be that at the end of the 54th lap and not at the end of the 53rd lap as published.

In accordance with Article 179(b) of the International Sporting Code, the stewards of the Brazilian Grand Prix will re-convene on Friday 11 April at 11.00 hrs at the FIA headquarters in Paris to review the results of the event. All competitors who would be affected by any change to the classification are being invited to attend.'
