As the topic suggests, has anyone got one of the whiteline strut braces for a 1997 323 (1.8l)?

If so, what have they found with it, etc, etc. Would they recommend it?

I've got one fitted on my car (as well as a Cusco rear brace), and love it.

Welcome.

I had one on my '96, it made the steering more precice. Coupled with the whiteline rear sway it made the car much more stable and predictable in corners.

I dont have the whiteline I have a pedders one but they are all basically the same bar
just with different end plates. I love mine. I also recomend having your lower Y frame
bushes replace with nolathane ones really tightenend up the cornering. Dont worry about
trying for a anti-lift kit as the present frame is horizontal anyway so is fine.

Thanks for the info, it's actually for my G/F's car, she just bought one (97 323 hatch), and she asked about one. (Coming from a SSS N15 Pulsar that came standard with a Front brace). I'll let her know the positive feedback, and see if she wants to lash out and buy one.

Cheers Fellas.

ditto. predictable and precise would be words i'd use to. i can now go around a corner without feeling as thou the back will swing out. it feels much more tighter and the car feels 'as one' ie. all wheels and steering are working together, rather than working independently of one another. still have to get a wheel alignment to get the proper feel for everything.
