IceWish,
You played Parasite Eve 2. *Thats rocks !!
Been waiting for a PS2 sequel which would be wild.
I cant get rid of my PS1 cause I need it with the chip.
Makes for easy playing from one tv to another with the PS1
games by having both and one connected to each TV :)

Cant get rid of my PS1 cause its modified and the PS2 costs way too much to get chipped,so ill wait a little..I havent played Parasite Eve 2 yet but i played the first part and i tell you...it rocked.....Im considering putting my PS2 in my 323..he he ,,...I bought an inverter and a flip out screen/...that way ill have a DVD player without the high cost.
I might have to consider getting a dry cell battery though cause with that and my ice itll be a little strain .What u guyz think?[/color:post_uid0]

there's a place around the corner from me that does the Messiah chip ( good chip! ) mod for the PS2 for $165 i think. *Might be a sale price from $195.

XBox mods are $120.

I'm planning on getting a dvd burner soon. Just doing my research first ...

I'd be interested in swapping games :;): * I'm addicted to GTA Vice City at the moment :D[/color:post_uid0]

Messiah is the best chip. Its all plug and play. No swap
tricks needed.

IceWish,
If you want PE II just let me know and I will copy it. Been
meaning to see how good the clonecd database is for settings
as PE II is a protected game.

Bye the bye, what do you guys use for copying games. I
have been using clonecd and clonyXXL and just recently
found cdmate which I haven't tested yet but looks good.
Anything better that you guys use.

Yeah but I know and owned an Atari 2600 as a kid. You know
you can buy now just the hand controller itself and it comes
with games built into the controller which I think is a crackup.
What used to require a machine can now be put into a chip
that fits inside the controller. Technology for you.

Id love to swap games wid you guys ...but theres just one small thing... im all the way on the odda side of the globe.Im in the Caribbean...Trinidad to be more spesific.Over here theres a hugge market for pirated games...you can walk into a store and choose any game you want and get it copyed for next to nothing. The original game costs about $275(AUD) and the copy costs about $12(AUD).The best game i played on my PS1 id have to say is Resident Evil 2....and the movie was...."fully sik mate...fully sik" ..[/color:post_uid0]

Trinidad?! Awesome, im gonna come visit next year! Done Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, San Salvador and a few others round there.... gotta get back soon.

Anyway, I'm with Manuel, GT3 still on the top of my list. Havent played Vice City or that new-driver style game yet thought. On PS1 best game was World Touring Car Championship (TOCA 3) - thrash a V8 Falcon around Mexico City Circuit or an Alfa 156 tourer around Mt Panorama. :D

Of Course ......i have to agree wid you guyz...when GT3 came out it ...there was none in its class...not even close...and still its the best simulation racing game around...i read an article about it and they even recorded the real engine sounds of all the cars for the game....but damn getting the S License was hardd.[/color:post_uid0]

In arcade games the all-time greatest is still GTi Club. Its awesome - its even got a handbrake! You thrash cool little cars such as Mini around a fake Italian city.

And Indy 500.... I beat Mark Skaife in that when he was driving the Sega Commodore. I got his hat with an autograph because of it. Mid-late 90's sometime.[/color:post_uid0]

I think its Tokyo Extreme Racer [b:post_uid0]Zero[/b:post_uid0] *that has the astina in it. i've got tokyo extreme racer on ps2 and have seen no astina as yet :(

GTA Vice City is great, I'm loving it. Hooning around the streets like a madman. *Running over ppl and doing some crazy crashes. *You have heaps of missions to do and ppl to kill. *I like it when the police try to pull u over and u get out , beat them up, and steal the police car :D *And then there's the fun of stealing a tank to drive arnd in :;): *The helicopter and motorbikes are fun too.
If only it wasnt dvd I'd be able to burn it.

Have you guys heard abt Playstation DVD-CD Ripping ? * Its where you take a DVD game and squish it down to fit on CD. *Mainly by either removing or reducing the quality of the video and sound files in the game. *Apparently Vice City is really hard to do tho. And can be unstable anyway. But other games work well!

Here's a good site for reading about that. With the price of
DVD recorders dropping to $500 I may just wait a little longer
and rip straight DVD-DVD.

That's a pretty good site actually. It had the $160 DVD player that I bought from go-lo on there with hacks to avoid the macrovision and the region encoding. Excellent stuff. But I've still got the good Sony player as well.

Ha!! Look at that, pr1mo has his own DVD burning utility!! :D Download PrimoDVD now!! Hehehehe

Mate,
Missle command and Air/Sea combat rocked. Having the
tanks that shot and bounced off the walls was the best.
You have to check out that controller thing. It has quite
a few games on it. I also find it a crack up to see little
18yr olds wearing Atari T-Shirts when out clubbing. I
always think its a "What the !!" like they would know
what it meant.

But its all good.
