pfft. unnoticeable, esp at speed [speed not speeding]
a rub and paint sounds like the plan if you want to do it

OT - but what lug nuts are you using there?

lugs nuts.
VERY hard to get decent ones in oz.
im lookin at o/s at the moment for good ones.
I got a set of 4 locknuts from bob jane I think.
And the other ones which need a hex key to remove, $40 for box of 25.

i would take the rim to a dealer.... some of they have the tools to to a proper job with fixing the rim.
they fill the scraches with metal, and sands it down, and make the rim as good as new.

just for ur information, i got those set of light weight lugs from corksport
but key has been cracked so easily and it toke me for an hour to remake the key to get those nuts out.

twilightprotege

damn! just a poor key or were you a bit angry with it?

jcywong

i think it's the problem with the key
also please don't be misleaded by the claim that it's so much lighter, 60g down to 25g
mazda nuts weight only 30g so will only be 5g lighter

well locknuts are to prevent thieves
i personally think you should get some from overseas since i think they will have a collection of australian patterns handy

and also make sure they don't weight heavier than stocks'!!!!
