Yatala BP (Gold Coast) - Leave 9:15am
This is Southbound on the Pacific Highway. When coming from the Gold Coast Take the Yatala North turn-off to Yatala pies and go right at the round-about under the bridge. On the otherside is BP. Meet at the back of the BP Servo.
DazzTx3 be there in Red Laser with FMIC and Chromies.

Mt. Gravatt Lookout(South Side) - Leave 9:30am
Please all meet at Mt. Gravatt Lookout (marked on the Refredex). You have to drive to the top. Would be good if you could hook up with the Yatala Guys on the highway via CB radio or something.
KE_TX3 can lead the pack - Red KE Tx3

Aspley Maccas(Northside) - Leave 9:30am
All meet in the Aspley Maccas carpark before 9:30am. Be a good plan to join up with the Sunshine Coast people on their way through and head together to Toowong.

Picnic Point (Toowomba)- Leave at 8:00am

Etamogah Pub (Sunshine Coast) - Leave at 8:30am.
All to meet in the car park outside the pub. You can't miss the big Brown Pub on side of the Bruce Highway Northbound. Would be good to swing through past Aspley Maccas and pick up everyone from then. Then with a bigger group head for Toowong.

(If you are running late or don't wanna meet at any of the above meeting spots then simply head straight to the starting point at Toowong/Mt. Cootha)

This is Southbound on the Pacific Highway. When coming from the Gold Coast Take the Yatala North turn-off to Yatala pies and go right at the round-about under the bridge. On the otherside is BP. Meet at the back of the BP Servo.
DazzTx3 be there in Red Laser with FMIC and Chromies.

Mt. Gravatt Lookout(South Side) - Leave 9:30am
Please all meet at Mt. Gravatt Lookout (marked on the Refredex). You have to drive to the top. Would be good if you could hook up with the Yatala Guys on the highway via CB radio or something.
KE_TX3 can lead the pack - Red KE Tx3

Aspley Maccas(Northside) - Leave 9:30am
All meet in the Aspley Maccas carpark before 9:30am. Be a good plan to join up with the Sunshine Coast people on their way through and head together to Toowong.

Picnic Point (Toowomba)- Leave at 8:00am

Etamogah Pub (Sunshine Coast) - Leave at 8:30am.
All to meet in the car park outside the pub. You can't miss the big Brown Pub on side of the Bruce Highway Northbound. Would be good to swing through past Aspley Maccas and pick up everyone from then. Then with a bigger group head for Toowong.

(If you are running late or don't wanna meet at any of the above meeting spots then simply head straight to the starting point at Toowong/Mt. Cootha)

The handhelds I got are cheap second from the bottom Uniden uHo39p. There are 0.7w and if they are ****ty today Duck Smuths are plenty happy to reimberse or let me exchange up to a uHo44xr 2w powerhouse handheld within 14days...

Yeah it was a massive turnout, even a decent bunch of AstinaGT members tunred up (for a little while). Highlight of the day was discovering that my new bars work a treat over stock, lowlight of the day was getting home and counting all the new stonechips on the bonnet AND WINDSCREAN! :evil:
I had another issue going up the hills on the way back through Glorious with the AGT guys, after passing the bus going slowly up the hills hogging the road, after a few minutes my auto wouldn't rev past 4000rpm for a while, it wasn't locked out of gear, it just wouldn't go past those revs or drop down into another gear to get going... WTF :?:

Was a great turnout, awesome to see more Astinas on the road this time, they all looked sweet. Superhoon you didnt let us down :twisted: as we knew you wouldnt (can you feel the faith :P ). Had a great time even though it was so difficult to get any cold air into the engine, Catwoman had a blast as did my CRX crazed brother. Thae drive to Somerset was good but I had much more fun at Pikes Peak on the way home, yet hardly used any more fuel than I expected still got 10km/l even with the RRFPR and the car sitting no lower than 4500rpm. Now all I gotta do is get it back to the shop to ..., well find the cause of the white smoke, its back to the guessing game again. The miller cycle is sounding better every day. Thanks again for a good day and a good drive

Hey Guys, Thanks to all for making the trip. Was an awesome turnout. Some of the more showy Lasers could not make it but there was still a bunch of nice cars. Some VERY nice Astinas there :)

Pity it was so damn hot.....and having no aircon. Next one will have to be thru the tamborine rainforrests or something.

We're planning on another Skidpan day - perhaps the whole days course with high speed......Would be good for you guys to join us.

Was fun driving home on the open roads (at better pace :) ) :shock: and highway dirving. One bad thing about following.....can't get up next to people or swop places.
