Hey, this is a dodgy photochop of my astina that I did last night. Im looking at getting some new wheels soon. I like this style..any other suggestions? Only thing is I dont want chrome, and would prefer some lightweight ones..

Feel free to use photoshop if you have it to show me what you think would look good.. :)

go shadow chrome

note my last set of wheels that were shadow chrome all peeled. all but 1 did anyway :) they were BSA ones. if u truly want something lightweight then im afraid the ones you like wont make the cut. buddyclub P1 and some volk wheels are what your after however whilst they r light they also lack a bit of style however the P1's still look the goods in my opinion :)

essjayyell,

i tried those wheels on my car in 19" a while ago - they look alright :)

but i reckon the P1s that pr1mo posted would look ace on a white car

ummm i think they go for arounf $380 a rim for the 17" ones which is ok sorta i guess....

probarbly less with a tyre package. might be able to squeeze a set for $2100 with tyres out of donellans

thats rather cheap for real buddy clubs, i know ozzy tyres is selling alot of imitation advan and rays wheels they r still lighter then chromies and rnt to expence but then u dont show anyone it says made in taiwan on the back... the g-games(made by rays) rims i want are around the $3k mark for four 18x7.5 2 peace

the pic i got of those buddyclubs were forsale in firesport. i think the guy wants $1000 for just the 16" rims no tyres. theyre SP20 offset too :)

donnellans have some new ones on special with tyres for $1900

What are everyones opinions on second hand wheels? I want some good quality lightweight wheels, but dont want to spend heaps..

Also, a mate's mum just bought some new 17" wheels for her Eunos 30x. would her old wheels from it fit my astina? Mine's 4 stud.

I rekon they would look alright, and would be the cheapest option..

hmm i reckon go hard or go home :P

your only going to get sick of the eunos wheels after time anyway 2k is pretty good for brand new buddyclubs and theyll be lighter than your stockies (and much lighter than those eunos rims too!

what about these ones? Konig Helium Bronze. Im not sure about what sizes they come in apart from 15"x6.5".

edit: the 15"x6.5" are 4.9kg each

I like dark rims on white cars.

My set of rims is getting put on in the next few days when stock arrives. Will post pics then so you can see if you like even darker rims than that on a white car.

Thats light as by the way. My rims are semi light at 7.5 kilos each for 17x7.

Well by the time I get home it's dark, but I took some anyway.

I'll take some tomorrow morning before work when it's sunny. I'm loving them though. 100% happy with my choice.

Pictures are way too dark to see my rims in any sort of clarity so im deleting them.
