Roof racks for BA

I'm not sure if this is the right area for this question.....

I'm loking for a set of roof racks for my BA.
I want the ones that fit the factory roof mounts.

Do you have to get them from Mazda, or are there other makes that fit as well.?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Any info on suppliers in Brisbane would even better. :D

Try the Rola roof rack range in your local auto shop or www.rola.com.au and ask if them if they bolt to the factory position. They are in the order of $299 though.

Hey Cave Dude,

Bought my Astina about 6 weeks ago and put ROLA roof racks on. Presuming that your 96 hatch has the same mounting points as my 98 hardtop they just bolt straight on and don't spoil the cars looks too much either. You just remove the covers from the gutter strips on the roof (they come out very easily with a small flat head and a gentle touch) and the bars bolt into the brackets below. Cost me $300 part no is RM097
