Ballarat meet {VIC} - THIS FRIDAY 22/10/04

Hey every one, I’m a member on fordlaser.com and I am organizing a meet night for Friday the 22nd of October in Ballarat.
This will be just a social gathering with both forums the main aim just to get to know new members, meet with existing members, and have a yarn.

Wot we will do is we will just grab a bite to eat (out for tea if youse wish), have a chat, cheek out each other’s cars, cut some laps, and any thing else ya want to do.

The meet point and time will be posted once finalised but I was looking at 6pm at
“Big W” car park.

I hope you all can make it and will consider any ideas that you post and you can catch me on either forums.

I thought I will take this opportunity to introduce my self

My name is Justin and I am a member of fl.com for about 2 years now. I have been on the Ballarat go-cart & laser force social gathering between astinaGT.com and fordlaser.com and meet a few of you their, I use to drive a KE silver tx3 N/A but now I have upgraded to a KF 4wd turbo, if any of the people cant remember me my brother was the one who somehow launch the cart up onto the tyre wall, lol.
I was meant to attend a cruz with u’s a few months back, which was advised on fl.com but due to the remoteness of where I now live (near the SA broader) it is difficult to attend cruzes in Melbourne (a nice 4 hour drive 4.5 to 5 if you stop). But I look forward to meeting all you people again and some new people and feel free to pm me for any details

You weren't driving down Sturt Street [up near Avenue of Honour] the other day in the arvo?? I saw a white TX3 out of the corner of my eye [was concentrating on the ******** turning left].. I heard the buzz of an exhaust fly by and glanced in the side mirror to see a white TX3 like Oracles heading back towards city centre.. I know it wasn't Daniel as his if off the road. :roll:

I got my bro to explant to me how he launch the go-cart up that high and how he did it was he clip another carts tyre which launch him up. The people who owned the place said to him if he has one more crash they would kick him out, lol. and u know wot the scary thing is now…..he’s on his L’s lol.

Well I was about to leave and my boss asked me to follow through on a report. I thought I'd better as he had been kind enough to sign my time sheet :)

Oh well I guess I'll see you all next week at the Cruise for a Cause :D
I'll be seeing the butcher tomorrow and ordering a sh!t load of sausages.

THE RUN DOWN:

Apart from me running an hour late – Fu*ken brake pads – it all went well and without any incidents.

Well the meet time was at 6pm and due to some issues I had with my car I wasn’t able to get there till 7pm and I thank every1 for sticking around and waiting for me to rock up and for taking the piss out of me when I did, lol .

We left big W car park and got some pizza then proceed to the lake where we had a chat stuff our faces and had a chat about our cars. After being at the lake for about 15 – 20 min we were joined by Melacon (spelling?) and Potties (spelling?).

We left the lake and went to do some laps of Sturt street when we saw the cops block off the Big W car park and were defecting car, so we decided to park up the top of Sturt street and chatted some more and Melacon and MrPayner (spelling?) decided to beat me up with a club lock and try and steel my car!

The rest of the night we cruzed around Ballarat and having a good time most people went home at around 2am and Oracle, woodsy, matt, the chicks in the lancer, and my self stayed out till about 5am before we decided to call it a morning, lol.

I would just like to thank every who turned up it was a grate night for all with no incidents and no one getting in trouble with the cops.

Ps. anyone who manage to get pics would you be able to post them up.
