View Full Version : Which colour of astina do you have?
boys and girls,
just had a thought..... which is the most popular colour for our beloved Astina?!?
i have gone through....
a 1996 noble green hatchback.... got written off
a 1997 polar white as the insurance replacement
then changed to orange with silver marbolising effect,
then changed to candy apple orange with giltter effect.
i think i will leave at that for a little while longer.
tell us if you have custom colour(s)/effect(s).

Now a 1995 Polar White hatch.
If I ever went for a custom respray, I'd probably go for the Ford Racing Blue used on the RS Focus and Racing Puma in Europe.[/color:post_uid0]

That baby missed to boat to reality. I always wanted to
know what gearbox they used to handle 206kw.
I have seen 2 Mazda 6's now and both of them have
colour differences in the paint between the bumper and the
boot. It could be because of the pearl but is noticeable
on the yellow car. Am also dissapointed that ford can
turn the old dinosaur 6 motor into dual variable cam and yet
mazda can only do the inlet cam. Not to sure why they
reversed the head to have the exhaust at the back of the
motor maybe for straighter path but looks funny in the
engine bay. Looks cool but don't think it will perform to
match the looks.

actually now that i think about it, the color difference is very slight. the only way i know this is because i know someone with a BJ Astina (98-02) that would be passion red, and his victorian maroon numberplates (exactly the same as mine) are slighly darker than the color of the car.
so it's a poofteenth of difference :)
