are you sure it's a v8? i thought it was a subaru engine coz of the turbo's up high...and i cant see v8 banks in there.

you're right, i was told it was a V8 so never really looked that close
i was wondering what those things at the back of the bay were
and yeah, apparently it's LPG
i'd be saying rotary as the engine looks so compact!

explain to me why you would have three bovs, all of which are different
couldn't it just have one big one for the required flow

because it's a hyundai. things tend not to work so they need to build in numerous redundancies

If this thing was at summernats, it was a v8 excel, from what I was told. People said it was a real sleeper.

The engine bay of an excel COULDNT hide a v8, my money is on a rotary

I'd be quite certain a small windsor, chev or even holden engine could not be hiding under that! Almost certainly not enough room...

i was originally told it was a TT windsor on lpg...so it's *possible* there was another one there, but i doubt it

Definately a V8 people, i saw this guy do burnouts at the nats, i think its a lexus V8, smaller than Holden etc
His first burnout passed the elimanations, in the final he crashed into the wall causing some pretty harsh damage, wasnt to happy
