need some infos about BG B6-2E

Hello gentlemans after 11 years with my mazda astina BG 1994 i decided to change the engine(still runs great) i have found a ex rally driver who has 2 Mazda GTR one car is very damaged(roll over) he have 4 GTR engines in brand new conditions complete with ecu,turbo,wiring loom and want to sold U$ 1000 each engine...so will be posible to swap to my car the GTR engine??? also i have found the gearbox of the 1.8 G series very cheap here about U$200 .....anyway my engine is the B62E i thing 1.6 SOHC 16V....is posible to make 4wd the astina BG with the machanical parts of the GTR damaged??

GTR will go but it wont be a straitforward swap. did you get the SP 1.8 DOHC model BG astina in paraguay?

i think no, i never see th 1.8 dohc in a BG here but i have found in the BA and some came with V6 1.8

It is all possable.
It will need some very careful planning.
The BG Astina is very similar to the BG GTR/GTX. It is longer and does not have the access in the front for the intercooler pipes (not difficult to fix).
You would need the fuel tank and controller from the GTX, a longer shaft to join the gearbox and rear differential and a lot of time and patience.
The GTR has 5 wheel bolts, you will need to think of this also.
