It is custom fitted for the SP20, pic as per the current AstinaGT feature car of course. Any BJ would fit fine.
It is going in the pursuit of of a full show boot instal using 2 12" Phoenix Gold Titaniums.
Some here have seen and heard this sub. Awesome thing, very proud of it.
It is tuned low 30Hz and is VERY heavy and strong, made of a mix of 25mm and 43mm (25 + 18mm sandwich) for the baffle. Large duct port, 90 degree angle, optimised bend and fully flared both ends. Dacron loaded.
Box is fully laminated and acrylic painted in Mazda Champagne Silver.
In my position at caraudioaustralia I get to hear a lot of SQ systems, it is STILL the best bass I have heard, smooth, tight and goes loooow. One CAA member described it as "spine-melting bass".......
You would need 500 watts-ish (or more....) and a subsonic filter to get the best out of this enclosure.
Has a 2001 Kicker S12L7 dual 2 ohm driver, 9 months use and NEVER been burped on an SPL run.
NSW only, it is FAR too heavy to freight, it lowers the back of the car 10mm or so on heavy duty springs......
