People in vans [and other crap cars] can be inconsiderate pricks! I remember when I had my old 85 Corolla Seca. She was the straightest cleanest corolla in town [t'was my first car!! *:) ]. I had it parked in an all day car park, but when I came to collect it there was a nice big ding about 15cm in length up the rear driver side door. Some one had used my car as a guide into the parking spot. The black from the bumper is hard stuff to get off too!
Touch wood that this will be the last time Bill.

i try to avoid this sort of thing when i park in public by
a) park next to a wall
b) park near new/expensive cars, as they usually care because their car is one of the former
but i've still got dents and stuff[/color:post_uid0]

Yep, I follow those rules too. I try to find the biggest spot, or a spot with a wall on one side and a concrete pole on the other side. I used to park in an undercover spot when I was back in New South that had the latter conditions. It gave the next person about 4 feet of space to open a car door. And also, never park next to a trolley return bay. Nasty buggers those!!

I always park between the wall and the concrete pylon at work. It's the hardest spot to park in, but no-one parks within a ****ing meter of you if you get in there. Touch wood nothing happens to it.[/color:post_uid0]

When you take down the number plates maybe we should also get some extra AstinaGT stickers made up with an extra footnote.
