Hey all,

Today saw the passing of the famous "gay auto". It was sold to a funny little Korean guy at Nundah/Sandgate, so chances are it'll still be spotted by members who live in the area, and there are a few...
Even though the manual isn't as good a car as the auto was, I've got some plans for it that extend beyond humble power mods. So in a few months it should have a pretty good balance of upgrades that hopefully work well on a budget.

You know that poor little Cat will not give up the throne easily but seeing that I will have limited cruise time she may let you borrow the title for a while but wait till we are back in the game and she gets out the claws
Its good to see that you are a humble one car kinda guy again.
Are you thnking of running the manual over the 400m test lane now
It would be great to see how the 1.8 can play

Come on now, she knew it was only a temorary position! :p

I hope to get the UDP, engine mounts, and exhaust cam done prior to the track event, although it's unlikely I will get the cam done by then... After all that is done, hoefully I will be in the mid 80s... Sounds pathetic I know, but the 1.8 is always 10kW less than the 2.0 at the same rpm, but nothing an extra 750 more revs can't fix!

Meow for now,
Gav.
