These are photos of a FM/BEGI turbo kit, mentioned previously on this board, except this guy is running almost 8 psi, and according to his "butt dyno" it's about 200-215HP at the wheels...

Bloody exxy of both time and money tho'....
I did speak to the guys at Flyin' Miata about their kit which you can get parts out of when is released (about now I think) and do the rest here eg manifolds etc[/color:post_uid0]

looks good.
just wondering, what's the price tag for that setup?
if you are looking at say around $7k (inc. freight and maybe labour), then you are probably better off doing a custom job here in australia. you will be able to mix and match items like turbo/intercooler and the ecu. the intercooler looked like a supra item (in terms of size).
just an idea...[/color:post_uid0]

I think I'll just wait it out untill the price comes down... they're still developing it anyways...

By the time my warranty runs out they should've blown up a few MP5s, all I need to do in the mean time is find a good shop to install it for me...[/color:post_uid0]

Am from brisvegas actually :)
This is the best/only Australian Astina Board I've come across, we need more SP20 members...

Have any of you guys tracked down kewl parts for our cars yet? I've found a shop in NSW that imports Injen CAIs but that's about it...

sorry to here about your panel damage, some bastard in a 4wd backed into my car about 5days after I picked it up from the dealer, I feel your pain *:(

The FM turbo kit goes for $3,595.00US plus there's an additional $526.80US worth of upgrades to get her up to 8psi boost...

I would give my left nut for one of these kits, but like I said, better off waiting untill they kill a few MP5s at the expense of some rich kid yanks *:;):[/color:post_uid0]

I would still go Australian. We are a lot more cluey when
it comes to computers than the US. The FM guys use
Link ECU's so you could go to AVO and get a similar package.
Why pay for a NZ computer to be sent to the US to come
back to Australia ?? You will save a lot of money if you get it
done local here.
