This has probably already been discussed, but I can't find any posts about it.
Will the standard gtx intercooler+pipes fit in the BA?
Reason I ask is the only ECU I've found the guy wants me to take the IC and lots of other bits with it. If the IC + pipes don't fit at all then I won't take it. Otherwise I'll consider it (I know I know, get a bigger IC, you know you'll want to anyway, etc etc - but work with me here...)
(Oh, I have to get factory ECU to keep Mr Engineer happy, which is why I'm looking for one)

Thanks mal.
If I got a custom set made up, would they be able to reuse any of those original pipes? Maybe just the end sections? Just a thought.

No benefit to that if you are going custom. Were you buying a decent I/C or sticking
with the GTX cooler ??? I never tried installing the section from the intake down to
the inner guard if that was what you wanted to keep I just know the section from
the turbo to the afm will not fit due to the lower bonnet. I never bothered
with the rest of the pipes as I went custom straight away.

sweet. thanks. I'm not sure what the setup looks like at all - this is all new to me (half the reason I'm doing this conversion is so I can learn...)

That's xedos's car isn't it? I just noticed the moulded front lip and front mud guard - ver' nice. I've been wondering if anyone had done that, that's how I hope to do mine (sideskirts are _still_ under my bed! )

No I will stand corrected I never tried bending it back like that nor
did I ever think of using a filter that small. I personally wouldn't want
to use a filter that small and would prefer a custom pipe.
Also means I can now sell the standard pipes I got down in the garage
as they will fit an Astina :)

Yes I dont think I will be using that set up, Im going to try and get my filter in the wing so I can connect my cold air feed to it!
Good news with the pipes Mal, $$$ :D Ur still turbo Yoda in my books :D
