I kept with some Laser turbos from 100-140 the other week. Also Kept within 1 car length of Mazdabator's turbo all the way to 180 on one occasion. I did over an Integra (last shape with square lights) twice, but on the last two stouches he would outrev me and inch past at 140. There is this ****ty black car I see occasionally, beats me everytime, but I don't get left as far behind lately...

i raced a vt commodore the other day and flogged, that was fun
I also raced a vl v8 calais and nosed infront of it to 70 and then it whooped my arse.
and i raced a el falcon sedan with an exhaust and handed him his arse oh and i raced brads silver sp20 and that was pretty even.

Last thing of note i raced was one of those 255kw VX commo utes (low, loud, on stockies at the back) to about double the speedlimit. Almost beat him...i blame my fat friend in the passenger seat!

jux head up wif a suzuki gti and a saab at the light, the dam saab was so fast, me and the gti cant even caught, and the gti beat me until 100kmh, i finally come 2nd. i think that saab was a 2.3 turbo, no wonder that fast.....

On the street my car is 0.7s slower to 100kph than Andrew's, and 0.3s slower to 400m. These figures were tested the same Gtech. On the 1/4 his car will blitz mine off the line, and is a projected 1s faster if I could manage a good launch (which I can't) but otherwise 1.4s faster generally.
As for Mazdabator, we raced from 100kph, so we both had momentum and launches were out of the question. I had myself and 2 tyres in the boot (some 200kg) and Tim had himseld and 2 girlies with him (maybe another guy?). So he had an extra 190-270kg extra in the car say...
I'm pretty sure Nate was there, you can always ask him if you think I'm talking smack...

I flogged a vz ecotec v6 berlina, kept up with a new monaro, also kept up with a slightly worked series 5 rx7.i also raced a turbo mr2 the opther day and beat it, and i raced a turbo sprinter and i won.

I like racing people in my car cos it a sleeper and people don't pick it.

The look on there faces afterwards is worth a photo.

yeah tidy the difference won't be huge.

I drove a TL Magna in Qld (Hire Car) and drive TL Magna's at work and there was little to no difference.

the only time I found my car doughy so to speak was when sydney got over 35 degrees C and the humidty was high, also if I wasn't running premium it would ping cause of the advanced timing.

oh and my best feats would be taking on a BG SP in my stock 1.6 and with the Lynx beating a 220kw XR8 Rebel Manual. Guy used to live up the street and thought it was such a great car till I beat it.

i dont think any of the cars where trying.I've only been played by one car before, I could hear him getting on and off the throttle, but when the car beside you is on full song you know about it. I've got a mate with an MY98 Clubspec EVO 2 WRX, it goes very hard and has a rather linear powercurve. He quite often goes on how he only revs it to 5000rpm in a race, etc... It'll be interesting when I line him up on the "private road" after I've done all my performance mods.

a bout a month ago i was out cruisin n i got a few races in the one night.first went to the coast n on the way back on the hwy lined up with a 97 civic sedan, we went from 100 and i pulled away slowly.so was happy with that,then when got bak into logan raced a subaru liberty(prolly 93-94 model?)yeah got 3 goes with him.really close but slowely pulled away just before each change.(talking like .5 of a metre each change)close one,then after that he pulled up next to me and goes "wat u got runnin under that thing?"i said not much man pretty much stock.he said he definately underestirmated me. then being the dick i am i wanted to see how much i would get wooped by a skyline,so i raced one off the line in the city past the cop station,i kept up with him.....untill 2nd gear lol.na i had no chance.but very fun filled night.vid recorded all the races,but was too dark for my ****ty cam so u can hear well but cant see ****.
