Hey All..
Who was the printer guru around here? Was it shads?
I need to know if the HP 930C can do borderless printing on 6x4 photograph paper.. At the moment it has a border of around 3-5mm, and there's no "custom" paper size option. :(
If someone can let me know that would be super.
Cheers

Hmmmm......
I work with printers a fair bit, for some reason I don't think that model will do border-less (this is not based on fact)....
What I often recommend people do is print onto a bigger sheet (ie A4/8x12) and just make custom layouts of multiple 6x4's then cut them down.
You can usually get 3 to a page (putting on 4 makes them slightly smaller usually).

Yeh i had a bit of a looksie at the HP site [did a lot of searching through their forums and ****] and there's nothign to say that the 930C does borderless.. I think the thing to do would be to get a wood/plastic spacer that's 3.2mm thick and butt it up against the edge of the printer so it removes the border from the side of the photo, then just adjust the top margin to suit..
Thanks anyway..

Yeah it was Garath aka MrShadow. He gave me some advice a while back, and even followed it up to see how I went with it.

sometimes ya can set the print a bit bigger than the paper to get rid of the boarder but if you print too far over the extra ink gets printed onto the rollers :S
