Maybe I dont get it. Isn't the restricted time 11pm to 5am so 11:07 is restricted which
is why you got booked ???

i was parked b4 11pm didnt realise it was 11 i was standing right next to the car and they still gave me one for 7 mins past. its like not even a significant amount of timeif ur 7mins late for work they dont say ok u arent gettin payed for the huge 7 mins u were late. fair enough if it was 15 past or sumfin but 7 mins is just ****.

i understand that its 11 but ud think they would have a little bit of a buffer say 10-15 mins. all im trying to say is its stupid no everyones watch has exactly the same time therefore on someones watch it could have been 11 or 15mins past. most cops give u a first warning saying its 11 move on these tools just stopped didnt say **** thats wen we realised and left straight away didnt even hand it to me. mailed it out

yeah just suck it in and take it.. i got a parking fine with a time of 6.01am, when the restricted construction parking permit area started at 6am

the bastard was there waiting for the time to click over.
but oh well these things happen, just move on.

the polite thing to have done would be to tell u to move if u were standing next to the car. **** happens

I've had the same thing at a clearway. The next week I swore up a storm about some thoughtless pr!ck who did the same.
Unfortunatly the rules are black and white and we must live within them.

I have been done at 9.01pm when it changed into a permit zone..and we came out 9.05 and he had just finished putting it on. The only reason we hadn't moved/left was cause we got overbilled $60 at a restaurant it was outside..and they had A: brought the food out late and B: took 1/2 hr to fix the bill up after overcharging. My fine $60, so may as well paid more cause it caused the fine anyway. And there were 4 other people in the car with me, do you think they chipped in for it....noooooooooo.

parking inspectors are lower than garbage collectors, see they dont have any friends,

i got a fine for parking near the hospital because i parked nose to the kurb not rear. even put money in the machine.

sorry to say
but newcastles really going to ****. no offence but i live here too, they are tryin to get more people into newcastle, by increasing the amout of parking you have to pay for, having **** shops, and soon to be removing the trains to be replaced by busses.
a walk down the mall is just depressing now, half the shops are closed down or broken into.

i agree, if you were both there at the car then he shouldve been a nice fella and told you to move, but they are pricks...although, you do know you were doing the wrong thing (well relised i spose) so all you can do cop it...

BWAHAHAHA

i'm sorry but the laws the law

law enforcement is meant to be set to the time kept at Lucas Heights.... dead accurate too.... perhaps you could call the talking clock?

I agree with the Fro, you parked in a spot at the restricted time slot, it wouldnt matter it you parked there at 11:02 you are still going to get booked for the 2mins.
