[color=#000000:post_uid0]Yep, convert them into a standard .wav file, then burn onto an "Audio" CD (ie select "Audio CD" instead of "Data" when burning).[/color:post_uid0]

[color=#000000:post_uid0]If you've got Nero 5 [or i think even Adaptec does it now] just drag and drop it. It will convert the MP3 when it records. You're likely to get the same quality any way if you convert first then burn.

[color=#FF0000:post_uid0]yeah, adaptec does it. one problem though: it won't play on old cd players. in that case, you should use the "cd spin doctor" part of it and that converts the audio to format that will be read by all cd players.[/color:post_uid0]

[color=#0000FF:post_uid0]i burnt both the chicks and the subwoffer song. and played it in my Stina. The subwoffer song doesnt have much bass. sounds crap to me lol. but the chicks song had a nice deep bass. gotta love my 15" sub :;):

[color=#000000:post_uid0]I downloaded the "Chicks" song and it has a variable bit rate. That may be the problem. It's the only variable bit rate MP3 that I have [1000+ files]. I've burned full albums that I've downloaded from the Net onto CD and they're fine on my Hi-Fi system. They sound great, but that could be because they're $850 speakers, $800 amp, $1500 speaker cable, $300 interconnect and a Pioneer CD player. **** ay! [great, i'm sounding like Dan now ??? ]. Ah well.

What is the bit rate of the song in question??

mr shadow, later on in life i intend to get 2x15 inch kicker square subs. 750 rms! hell yeah! right now, thebass tube does ok, not hardcore, but ok. it still gets some bass.[/color:post_uid0]

My Plan is:
Amp (capable of driving 1 x Sub and 2 x speakers, if possible)
Sub
6 speaker system (as I still ahve the cutouts in the rear doors for 7x5 speakers). hence the need for an amp to drive 2 speakers.[/color:post_uid0]
