well november doesnt have much to offer in terms of drag meets, but i want to get 1 more practice in before heading to sydney on the 25th of november for the 2nd round of the sport compact championship
there are no saturday events and wednesday's are out for me because i have to pick up connor from childcare after work and i wouldnt get out to willowbank until late anyway.
so, would anyone be interested in coming out next saturday night, the 29th of october? i know it's late notice, but i dont have much choice at the moment. and i guess this way it'll all be at the front of our minds

Slimy little N/A consistent car ;)
I'd love to come but depends on how strong my new gearbox is....it might just be a temp. job on it until the LSD goes in.
On Wednesday I shattered the Spider Gears in the diff driving thru 2nd gear. Bummer - that nice box only lasteed 3 months with upgrade mods :(
All the drags and Jambo took its toll - Actually good it lasted this long.

well twiggy got booted off the drag strip saturday night.
saturday morning i noticed an oil leak around my oil cooler adapter. no biggie, just leaking a bit of oil. after 5 runs they finally kicked me off the track for leaking oil. will be fixing that this week
still a good night. all 14.9xx runs except for one 14.89. all at 91.xx mph too. best 60ft of 2.07x which is only just slower than my best of 2.06x. it was good working that out because on that run i did a 1st-2nd gear burnout. obviously with the tyres getting down on their life and having a good lot of heat cycles i need to heat them up a bit more to get mo grip and get my times down.

Nice work Twiggy. I can't wait to get back onto the track with same Drag radials and the LSD diff......hopefully get much better 60ft times (mine are like 2.5 sometimes lol) and get closer to 12.99.
Speaking of which - That last Jambo race between us was close for you.....u had a crap pass....i was close, just lucky i missed my low boost button and baked the first lot of track haha :)
The Astina is getting some good consistency.....good ol N/A

yeah gotta love NA. much less can go wrong in terms of getting to the other end.
i have a feeling that if you get drag radials and an lsd you'll be faster than rob and ross

If i can keep with them until 3rd gear then I can hold my own all the way to the finish line. Was doing well against robbo, but ross is only going to get quicker (more power and better tyres). Rob already has good 60ft and good tyres......bit heavy.
I've only got the smaller VF22 turbo but it should make a fair bit more power still....and then there is always the T4 upgrade wheel for it.........so i might keep it instead of getting a big dirty garret turbo :)
Good Luck with the races, I love your cars front end.......dont' you wish you had those bronze rims right round though :)

Was scary the lead you get when you dial in 15 sec and me 13.2 sec....I was all confused when my light did not go green adn you were in the distance........catch up most of the distance like 10m before the line, so u don't think you'll get there hahah
