i had mine installed by pedders, but there was nothing special to the fitting. it was just installed on a level surface, with the car on the ground.

i noticed a difference straight away - i couldnt corner as well. had to get a bit more camber dialled in to the front, and then it was ace.[/color:post_uid0]

Hello Rupewrecht,

For My 1991 323F (5-door Astina), i'm looking for a place to start in suspension settings. I also have the camber-bolts.

How many degrees did you change the camber on your car compared to the Mazda setting ?

Best regards,

Michiel Vos[/color:post_uid0]

I honestly can't remember what camber settings i have at the moment, as i've had a few different ones as more suspension pieces have been changed.

But i think it is about 1.5 degrees of negative camber at the moment.

cheers

Why are the settings different from left to right? Is that in order to compensate for the extra.... um.... ah..... mass :p *.... on the driver's side? :D[/color:post_uid0]

Ha Ha,
It could be but I wasn't in the car so it another heavy
buggers settings. In truth from memory its because
you tend to throw the car more when turning right so they
add more negative on the left. Well I do anyway.

Thanks guys,

The settings will give me something to work with.

About the different settings left and right. In Holland all highway exits (= fast corners) are right turns. So it is the left front tyre that will wear out first.
Maybe your suspension company has compensated for the same thing.

We drive on the other side of the road to you guys so its not
for that. Being on the right hand side of the car I do find
that I can corner harder turning right and have always
worn the left front tyre more than the right even before
these alignment settings.

Could also be to do with the shape of the road, which generally falls off more to the left for drainage purposes.....[/color:post_uid0]
