yes guys its over for my beast , had a full end of year booked was even sponsered into final battle but now my dreams are shattered the car will not see the roads again this year

story goes like this driving along the street turbo must have spiked or sumthing [wasnt even giving it to it at the time] herd a clunk had to keep going a little bit to get off the rd then bang put a rod through the block now blocks are not just lying around so im stuffed for awhile if anyone can help to get one let me no

i can tell you peoples its a very sad time at our house at the moment as i have been spending nite an day to have it out an about an do final battle an a couple off other big things were going to happen but now lack of parts, time an money will kill thoughs dreams

dont forget that any time something bad happens to a car makes it a perfect opportunity to alter it ;)

i'm not going to say anything about the engine blowing up because i'm sure we all know my opinions on the engine + boost, but rod think of it this way, you've spent so much time and effort on the car, dont throw it away, rebuild it! rebuild it to be ultra strong. do something no body else has done (like you're not like this anyway) and take a step into the unknown. something like a fwd 13b (for example) will be 300kw atw fun all day long and if you dont win prizes like there is no tomorrow for custom work, something is wrong

Im really sorry to hear about this bad news, i was looking foward to seeing it at final battle in a couple of weeks and its a real shame for that this has happened.

I dont know what to say, apart from when time and money allows rebuild the 0dd12c motor into something unbreakable, i heard a while back that doug had a set 8.5:1 rods and pistons laying around, maybe you could contact him and bring the beast back on the road soon.
