Hi all

Im intrested in putting a BPT engine in my BG astina sometime late december / early january and wish to learn from thoes who have allready done it.

What things should I try and avoid?

//edit

I have found an engine /w everything needed inc intercooler (not a frontcut however) for 2,200. It does not come with a gearbox.

Drift King @ Geebung said they wanted 7k to put it in with a new exhaust, clutch, consumables and labour... Thats more then I can manage, however I think they may have overpriced things a little...

Im getting a sinking feeling that this is going to turn into a 10k project, which is more then I want to spend on it.

2,200 without gearbox is a rip off
7,000 job is a rip off

I found a place that sells the half-cut for 1,800 with gearbox, and i've been quoted for the install for around 3,000 - 3,500. But i've been slack getting the money together to get it done.
