Formula ford day - Who wants?

Itll be about $500-odd, if we could get enuff then maybe a discount? Im going either way... part of a birthday present. Let me know. Oh, it'll be at Calder as well, so good for u Melbournians.

[color=#FF0000:post_uid0]Go to the track for a day with about 15 other people, ge taught how to drive a formula ford, do processional laps behind a pro driver, then go flat out in a Formula Ford. 250km/h down the straight, go kart handling with a bit more oversteer. woohoo!

Its pretty much a fun race day in semi-professional race cars. Does that mean ure coming with me Manuel?

I get bak bout March 2. Depends how much I like Italy :D

[color=#FF0000:post_uid0]Nah, it aint just a circle, its an orright track. I wouldnt care wat it was if i was in a Formula Ford! Manuel, all ive got is the cash to do a course, so if u find a rally course that is better than the Formula Ford for the same price or less, ill seriously think about doing it. Im also considering doing a two day race training course coz im planning on buying an HQ at the end of next year when i finish Uni to race. They're only about $2000 to buy in race trim and the racing is close and looks fun. My parents support me in it as long as i finish Uni first. Good idea i think, takes up a lot of time. Never think ill get anywhere much in racing, but thats not the point. I love driving, and any form of motorsport gets the blood rushing. If i dont do all that, id think about rallying. Can buy a Celica GTR (4wd version of our SX with better seats) with rally rego only (imported) for about $4000. Would be fun i think, but i have a feeling it would get expensive with damage and stuff which would be inevitable!

Anyway, i wandered off the point. I'll see. :D

im gona try look around 4 a rally day, i can remember seeing a few, but cant remember the prices.

i know there is one that runs and they have an evo 5 or 6 or something. now that would be fun 2 drive!!!!!!

if u want 2 race in rallys, my friends got an old escort, full decked out with the rally gear. hes selling it for about $2000. hes only raced it a few times since he bought it about a year ago. but id prob go with the 4wd celica.
