Just stumbled across this in a Google search>>

http://www.advertisingstandardsbureau.com.au/PDF/49.pdf

Personally I would be complaining that the add is misleading. It suggests that an SP20 is capable of travelling quickly :)

Dear Auntie,

I think they should display a bowls hat on the rear parcel shelf and show ye olde Mrs McIntyre leaning forward to meet the steering with her hands figitively positioned at 1am and 11pm... SNOOZ SNOOZ SNOOZ!

As long as someone will listen then someone else will complain.
But damn, that was a cool add...

Add I never understood didn’t get pulled was for yogurt I think,

With some chick in a cop uniform beating the crap out of some robber and then sitting on him while eating her whatever the hell it was.

Never thought I would complain about violence but it was so unneeded/unrelated it bugged me,

If it was any other way it would never even make the air, two girls nup, two guys nup, guy beating the crap out of girl, no need to answer that one.

And it showed at all hours, not that I ever did anything.

Anyone remember that toyota (Corolla/Camry sports maybe) something add that lasted about a day and a half, was some guy doing spins etc down a straight road, and somehow involved a cow.

The Yogurt add was probably made in Victoria where that activity goes on unnoticed.
I love the new anti-speeding add looks so much like a ford add...right up till when he smacks into another car. For the first half I though it was a new sports model ute add.

I find ironic that HSV can produce a 'Club Sport' model that explicitly advertises that their vehicle is ideal for club level motorsport from a street legal vehicle (dispite most of them being autos) and this Mazda add is banned.
Lucky all HSV vehicles are basicly overpowered land-barges.

I wish I could find that add on the net.

Some people need to get out more i think, remember the saying 'its just tv'. Now all the controversial but really funny adds are gone, and the people who complained think they have done somthing good, but a really funny part of Australian tv will never be aired again, I just think its a shame people take tv the way they do. Hopefully they run a controversial ad show.

lol some people have too much spare time to think about adds to complain about.

Yes it all started going downhill after they stopped selling the black golliwog biscuits,
when you couldn't sing "catch a nigger by the toe" and they stopped showing the Paul
Hogan show :)

The pinacle of PC for me was holiday tree's in America,

but they are now christmas trees once again, yay.

Re the ford add,
yeah till you see him slam both feet on pedals could easily be a ford ad, I wonder what ford did about that, i am sure they would of petitioned to have it pulled form air but yeah still going.

Maybe they did the drink driving guy in a holden ute to compensate, but no where near as clearly a Holden.
