I'm almost certain I saw what I thought I saw (?)...anyway

Driving in Camberwell last week there was a white Honda CRV with it's rear hatch door open. I found that a little unusual, especially since there was someone in the passenger front seat & noone else.

The 4WD had roof racks and some kinda box attached to it.
As I was driving past & trying to dodge a moving tram I couldn't look for long, but my suspicion is that the hatch was open to hide the box on the roof rack.

In conclusion I guess my point is to keep an eye out for 4WD/wagons with their hatch open.
- A better idea would be to keep a eye on your speed.

Mmmm, down my way the use a Hyundai Tucson as a speed camera vehicle, but the back is never open, they just put the camera down in front of the car.
In Darwin they used to us a maroon falcon wagon and have the back up. The operator sat up back with the camera.
They might be getting sneakier...... or you just could be paranoid :)
