I did it Serb style.... still Greek Orthodox. A little bit of racija/ metaksa got things going. And i was the egg grand champion. I chose the misfit egg (dye the wrong colour) and smashed everyone elses without a mark on mine. :lol:

Happy Easter People...

damn, what a tough day yesterday was... eating lamb on the spit from 3pm till 10pm... add seafood on the bbq, plenty of greek food and cakes, plenty beam and coke, and i'm SPENT!!

Pity two old ladies were taken to hospital because of some low life kids setting off fire-crackers in the crowds... one of them had a mild heart attack. :x

thanks god that i only have to do it once a year. loved the food and drinks.
i still can understand how people can still go to the church after a whole day's eating and drinking........ :)

I must admit the only church I could think of after getting on

I think you are a little confused Eric.

The important and final night of church is on Saturday night, then on Sunday, (or saturday night at 12.01) it is stuff you big black guts time!
The best is fasting for the whole week, then Sat night after church, have the best soup in the world, auyolemoni (egg-lemon/rice)!!!! my mouth is drooling as I write this!!!

ahhh that was 1 good easter, but im glad its over.

and bill u get to have avgolemono. we have to have that bloody margiritisa!!! ur not a kypreaos by any chance??

for those of u who dont no, margiritsa is the worst soup in the world. its like sheep and lamb intestines and hearts and all these left over bits of the animals. u'd think after fasting for 40 days theyd give u something better 2 eat at 1 in the morning after spending sat nite in church, but u get stuck with this stuff. i think thats why everyone looks forward to sunday lunch/dinner so much!!!!

yeah bill, that correct, i didnt have to go to the church.
the gf went on friday night and saturday/sunday morning. i went home early to work on my website on both nights..... :lol:
