What Do You Guys Think?
Found this place on line 3riple-d.com.
Prices to be shipped to S.A are $1800 for the GTX or $3900 for a GTR.
Thought the price for the GTX is pretty good, What is the difference between the two Kw etc.

Yeah but they advertise power figures that are basicly correct. I'd be concerned about buying a cheap interstate engine.
Compression test any engine before putting a wrench on it. That makes returns so much easier.
I paid 2k for mine without gearbox. But mine comp tested very well, has low k's (for its age) and there getting kinda rare.

The price is shipping from Japan or Malaysia, so i thought it seemed reasonable. However haven't found out anything about if they guarantee anything yet.

most the price isnt from shippin it over, all the import places (inc my work) ship containers over all the time, sometimes 2-3 at a time...and by the time you add on the shipping cost for all the parts to come over it isnt that expensive...
try and do a compresion test before you even put a deposite/buy the cut...that way you are sure your gettin a good cut...

Only bad is if something is wrong you got a long wait and hassles getting replacement
or other stuff delivered. Local you can get a half cut here in sydney for around $2100
incl gearbox which you then sell for about $500. Have a look at fordlaser.com for what
people say about edwin which is the same as 3riple-d.com. Theres quite a few good
and quite a few bad to me there is no need to risk it if for an extra $300 you get from
local eg. ichiban where I haven't heard any bad from.

Do yourself a favour and forget that site.
Add me to MSN if you want, or as Mal said, just search FL.com
