MEETING SPOTS:

Aspley McDonalds
Meet up for 8:30am for Northsiders to leave shortly after and head down South.

Milton MacDonalds
Meet up for 9:00am to leave by 9:15am. I live in the area so will swing by Milton and head on down the Highway.

Mount Gravatt Look-Out
Meet for 9:15am on top of Mount Gravatt Look-out to head off down to coomera. Perhaps you might wanna co-ordinate it so you can meet the group coming from North?

Yatala Pies Carpark (Side of Pacific Highway - Opposide side to Yatala BP)
Meet here for 10:00am in the morning. All other meeting spots will join up here and then heard on out to the cruise Route.


LEAVING:

DESTINATION:
After stopping at the Glow Worm place etc., we come out down the coast near Nerang. We can then either head back up the highway or go down to the Spit for more photos and meet up with all the other Car clubs that park up there etc.

ROUTE:
10:30 Leave Yatala Pies Carpark out to Murwullimbah Road, thru Oxenford Area. This is a nice sweeping, smooth road thru some nice landscape. I enjoyed driving this road alone.
Stop at Natural Bridge/Glow worms for a break, toilet and Picnic. Continue along Murwillumbah down into the town throught the sugar cane and head back up north again on Pacific Highway. There will be scenic stops and breaks on the way. All roads are quiet and scenic.

logical yes, it is. but, no way dude. no one is moving to qld. it is the devil! listen to me son, that state makes you weird, man. everyone, move to sydney instead :D we have more fun down here. trust me ;) we have the royal national park. oh and much better footy teams :D and cricket, and netball, and basketball.....and our beer tastes much nicer too :D

neways, will see what finances are like and if i'm flying up (damn virginblue is so cheap atm!) or driving up. but sounds like a verdie nice cruise.

Good stuff. Its our first small little cruise. Later on we'll be organision a big day. The club is focused on motorsport so we'll be organising and attending Drags, Dyno Days, Track Days etc. Entering as a team at Jamboree etc. :)

Our first cruise was going to be Over the Moggil Ferry which comes out in Goodna/Ipswitch Area. That would have been good then to cruise on out to Willowbank.

MazdaFours.com had a little cruise (1st one) on Sunday. Was a rainy afternoon and a small turnout but still fun. Sorry about the quality of the pics. I just used Ms Paint to shrink them. I have some super high quality ones.

Had heaps of MazdaFours.com members pull out due to car probs. Next cruise will be big - NMR323 (GTX), Mazda323Chick (BF Turbo), Warped Foobie (BF Turbo), SirB6T (BF Turbo), 323ONP (BF Turbo), DazzTx3 (KF Turbo), Simon_Turner (BF Turbo), P**** (BG Turbo) etc. all could not make it

yes ryry there was a astina there...it was mine...i was the only one there...but was allgood apart from the weather...

ohh and astinaboi...that white tx3 with red interior had 4 15" subs in the back...im pretty sure they were 15 not 12...

hopefully us astina boys get a better turn out this sunday goin to the spit for kitty...

ohhhh it was that bloody wet on sunday after leavin fantas place...i got sideways as i was goin onto the high way near the bridge...i didnt even have my foot on the accelerator i was like :o WTF GET STRAIGHT....and it was rainin that bad that ya couldnt do anymore than 80 safely...couldnt see 10m infront of ya...the lines on the highway were slipery as hell i changed lanes and my wheels started to spin...worste conditions on the highway ever!

Youre doing 120 in the wet and this surprises you :rolleyes:
Theres a sure fire way to fix this problem with your car
slow down in the wet
and drive not only within your means but also your cars

I am a fan of the spirited drive and have no problems with it but if your car cant manage the conditions then do a favour to the other drivers on the road for whom you may be a threat to and back off a bit

Its not that often that an accident is caused without damaging another party

cause i was doin 90 when i was changin lanes then the wheels spun on the lines so i was like nap stuff this gonna go 80... plus it was hard to see...

Dude ive been in thoes conditions once before going up the coast.

I found a cop and sat behind him with 20m between me and him. I could only see the "police" reflective bumper bar of his.

We were doing 80 - 70 and the wheels were allmost floating.

as to speeding in the really baddly wet:
You should not be doing 120 in that weather... do you have any idea how long it would take u 2 stop?
