Hi Everyone,

As I'm in picture mode thought I'd put up some pics of my car. I tried it once a while ago and don't think I got it right.. These were taken before the sound install, so the rear of the car is lower than it is in these pictures due to the weight.

Looks good Deon,
Actually with that kit and standard height it almost has a
bit of an FTO look about it doesn't it.

All the circle work was done when I got up there - it does look like my efforts though :-)

I'm not going to lower the car, the back is sitting a lot lower now due to the sound in the back.

Pretty sure I'll get the front bar cut and raised as I can't get the car into my driveway at work, which means I can't take the car to work. I think it should still look good, but it'll be more practical.

nice. that audio might slow you down a little. pity about the veilside frontbar being so low... that might look very much nicer if it were lowered. now you need a respray with effect paint :D

deon i saw another white one for sale at the maroochy shopping centre when i was up there in feb. had a full kit and 17"s pretty nice, maybe youve seen it round

Brisbane is 1000km south of Mackay - I saw a pretty sweet yellow asty in Bondi yesterday, it had a velside bar, talon side skirts and I think the standard small wing, and maybe 17" wheels. Didn't get a real good look - there was certainly a few Astinas getting around Sydney with some body work done to them. There are heaps of them up here, but none with body kits etc.

The extra weight in the back gives the car more rear grip, but it looses some front grip as a result. You would probably need to be on a track to pick it though! A small price to pay for decent sound.
