if i dont have 2ohm im gonna run at 1ohm and have 600wats rms per sub wid max gains so gains will need to be turned right down to stop subs from blowing is this a better way of doin it then using gains anyway

ive heard that u can run subs at any ohm loading aslong as the amp is capable of it, is this true? i wanna run 2 dvc 4ohm fusion subs in parallel meaning they are running at 1ohm. the amp im gettin is capable of 1ohm

true as true can be

depending on the quality and build of the amp, it will get pretty hot

yea thats how id worked out howw to wire it up, just makin sure that subs can run at any ohm rating aslong as maths works as above. so running in that configuration should be fine. the amp is going to be running very low gains etc as the power is more then enough at those setings. thanks for ya help guys

i hope your amp is 1 ohm stable? If not it'd be like connecting a nail accross the speaker terminals and hoping it doesn't blow up.

cool
be careful
ive heard loots a people who have stuffed their subs and amps doin this.
ive read that a lot of amps have like written that they are stable but its only for like one second n then they cant handle it.
my brothers got a 15 in alpine type R with this tiny alpine amp n it is even too loud n it does like only 350 RMS

The clarion monoblock amps are pretty good amps. If they say they are 1ohm stable then they should be safe to run at 1 ohm.

on the box it gives a reading of 1200w rms at 1ohm load along wid 2 and 4ohm ratings and a few ppl in the audio business have suggested this amp at 1ohm (not sales ppl fitters)
