WANTED -> 17"/18" Wheels

Hi,
I have a 1996 Mazda Astina 323 Shades. 2.0Lt V6.

Wanting to buy some new wheels and tyres and was wondering if anyones got some for sale.

If you do (17" or 18") post up a picture and a price and some details.

I think you might find you've got a 2.0l V6 not 1.8l.

and what the hell does shades mean? I am not sure if I have a shades or not? been bugging me for ages.

The "Shades" is just for optional extra's. It SHOULD say on the back of ur car (like a sticker or whatever) and i think its like if u have "cd player" and "passenger air bag" and all that (i think)

see thats what I was told before, but

A. I have a CD player and passeneger airbag but no sticker,
B. I have never seen a spec sheet for a shades model,or any mention there of,


My latest belief is you got free window tinting or somthing? cause mine didn't come with any.
DId you get remote locking or an alarm?

yeah well i've never really looked into it. I bought the car with its tinting on (pretty shooty job too so spose it could have been free) and i didnt get an alarm, got central locking but no remote. So i got a Cobra Alarm and mobiliser kit for $500 fully installed and works awsome :)

I've already checked eBay and theres nothing that are "mazda" and so not sure what sizes to look for. Any suggestions?

Re sizes do a search as I am sure someone would of said it at one stage, or have a flick thru the manual it should have that sorta thing in there,

And the shades was a special deal that gave things like alloy wheels (on the 1.8), airbags and a shades sticker on the back. i think that was it

Ask around a few tyre places and you might be able to get those rims. Take a pic with you though

You've probably seen the VW around, rather than the Astina which has been hibernating pretty much since then.

Simply meant that at the time when the car was purchased new, Mazda was doing a "Shades" promotion which ment you got "free" Air Conditioning ...... nothing else. Cool huh? :cool:
