does anyone have a plasma cutter or have access to one through work or a mate or a mate's work???
cutting through 6mm of mild steel kinda sucks doing it by hand :(

too bad my new place of work is understaffed and flat out right now or i'd see about it for ya, i work for a laser cutting place and most of the work we do is cutting mild steel up to 16mm.

Where the fark were you when we had our UDPs made up??? Any chance they can do a clean countersinking on flat plate?

well, i can look into it as far as offcuts are concerned. Just tell me thicknesses and material and ill find out waht happens with the scrap.

cool, thanks mate. 6mm place about the size that'll cover the exhaust runners on the head would be great - ie size of the exhaust manifold gasket

add to that - any shape 1.6mm stuff (ie motorbody thickness) and any shape 3-4mm plate would be great too!

Ready made sounds good... if its in the price range... the collector looks like its gunna cost a bomb unless twilight can manage building one from scratch...
Not that money is going to be a problem..given what this bad boy will do, just like to keep the missus happy :)
