Im back in canberra was in Darwin for a about the past nine months but Im back in sunny canberra. Down Side is Im trying to sell my BA as while away found the joys of motorbikes and also buying ahouse. Happy to go for a cruise while I still have the car anytime just let me know but I do shift work.

I just crawled out of the lurker woodwork here, but I have been cruising around in my near stock white BA for a couple of months now. Just look for the lowered loud BA with the cheap 'chrome' hubcaps (I swear Officer, they were the only ones on special!). Damn previous owner selling the rims and stereo and leaving me with stock.

Nothing wrong with stock, all the cheaper mods can be done and still get the same feeling as the more expensive ones! :p

yeah thats sooo true i only bought mine like 1month ago and had a slight parking issue :mad: in it the first day. i came from a impreza rx 94 so i wasnt used to not being able to see where the bonnet ends and... but it gave me an excuse to get a kit so i ordered that one in my post from the netherlands and i am waiting to get :) but mum said i have to pay her back before i get it sprayed and installed sob

Thing is with every club, someone needs to organise the event. It's up to you if you want to do something, just don't be disappointed with the turnout. With the R31 club that I run events for, we have a 40% drop out or not turning up rate.

Canberra cruises is different. They don't really(well they do but anyways) care what car you drive as the point of their club is going cruisin. With this club it's a astina ownership club. Besides canberra cruises has some dodgy people and wankers that have no respect for car or others.

Anyways, I don't think there are many people on here. You should organise a meet to see how many people turn up.

During the day, I can bring a Astina, but at night, gotto be the R31... Oh yeh, I work nights(at a resturant) so 5-10pm is no good for me.

At the moment, i've organised a cotter cruise for the R31 club, september 3rd, meet at woden cinema carpark at 11am. I'm pretty sure the turn out is gonna be really really bad, so feel free to come along, i "might" tell some other clubs.

Nah, i'm not really keen about goin down the clive, I don't trust the car that much now since it's almost hit 350,000kms hehehe. A cotter drive is nice. Movies is alright, but still, i don't that many people will turn up.

I organise go karting for the R31 club. It's $25 for 3x 10min session if we get 5 or more in a booking. Normally we get just on five people to book. And i wouldn't reccomend going for a drive after karting. Almost lost a car the first time we done it, I guess he still thought he was in a gokart LOL.

Anyways, i'm keen for a gokart session.

Yeah, I would be up for something in a couple of weeks. Maybe not the Clyde, as I don't trust my current tyre setup (old owner took the rims and put on 120km retreads...:eek:), but the Cotter might be do-able. Saturdays and Sundays work for me, but not weekdays.

Busy tomorrow though. Anyways, I am getting a smaller exhaust tip put on this friday to replace the all-too-noisy fat pipe that is currently attached. Don't get me wrong, I love the note and the growl, but it would be nice to also hear my stereo while driving.

And as regards stock, I like stock, I love stealthing stuff to make it look stock, but when the previous owner replaces the rims and tyres with a crappy set of retreads not even safe for highways, it does make you a bit miffed. On the topic, anyone know a place in Canberra that does Lenso VEs in 15"?

Damn, Retreads should be illegal!!! I don't know where you could get lenso's, but the guys from Tyre Power tuggeranong might be able to source you it, but if they arn't a supplier, it's gonna cost a bit.

Have you tried contacting Lenso directly?? If there is supplier in Canberra, they will tell you. Most likely it would be quickfit.

Hey guys. Been in Canberra for a month now and finally got the net up. Keep an eye out for me in the Gunghalin and Belconnen areas, i drive a Titanium grey SP20, lowered, exhaust and 17" Lenso wheels, bive me a wave if you see me around (NSW plates DB0984)

I've seen a few nice cars around, like the yellow SP20 (lowered, mags, exhaust) at Domayne fishwick, i guess they work there as it been there the last 3 times i've been there. and a nice blue KC ford laser with bodykit and www.FordLaser.com sticker.
