Hi eveyone,
I'm new with this so not really up to date with self modifications on my 323f (Astina), I live in Ireland and have bought a 323f but want to change my mirrors. Went searching but even the universal sporty ones wont fit or so im told, any help in fitting or am i out of luck? Oh its a 1997 model :?:
Cheers
rupewrecht is possibly ur source of help on this. He's fitted some universal mirrors to his hardtop. Not an exact fit straight-out-of-the-box, but with some time and some bog to make it flush, it can be done quite easily.

Hey there Derek, welcome to the boards :)
Supposedly thre's some M3 style mirrors available for the BA (94-98) Astina, but i've never seen them.
i adapted some DTM style mirrors to mine, buit had to fabricate my own bases, as the universal fit is nothing like the Astina base
You can adapt anything to fit, it just might take a little work! :?

well, all i did was add some bog/body repair putty and shape where it curves over the mirror support on the door. http://hrdwrbob.net/mca/uploads/rupewrecht/astina_mirrors_04.jpg
green = the size of the existing mirror
blue = the big that needed to be created in filler
really, i'd buy a set from a shop (so you can see them physically, and see how well they fit) and then take them to a panel beater and say to them 'can you make these fit' :?
