Pitstop Formula 1 Tennis Pro-Am

Hey guys, just thought I'd share some pictures with you.

Today I headed to Kooyong for the annual Pitstop Tennis Pro-Am. This years field of drivers included the following:

Nick Heidfeld - BMW Sauber
Jacques Villeneuve - BMW Sauber
Giancarlo Fisichella - Renault
Fernando Alonso - Renault
Christian Klein - Red Bull Racing
Felippe Massa - Ferrari
Alex Wurx - Williams F1 Test Driver
Nico Rosberg - Williams F1
Mark Webber - Williams F1

Plus a host of tennis stars, old and current (including names such as Stolle, Guccione, Arthurs, Kilderry, Stoltenberg, Fitzgerald, Verryth & Stone.)

Each F1 driver was paired off with a tennis star to play doubles. 2 courts were in action.

Have to say there was some pretty great tennis played, by both tennis stars and F1 drivers alike!

Not only that, but I was able to get autographs from all but 1 of the F1 drivers at the venue (missed Fisichella).

All up, a great afternoon was had. I've added some photos (which I've edited down to 800x600 size) - took about 50 photos on the day, ran the movie mode for a while and got some great footage. All in all, a great start to this weekends F1 proceedings :D

we had michael schumacker and mick doohan at work the other day, i felt in ore to be around them. i've meet mick before on many occasions but meeting schumacker was great :)
