Hey I'm turning 17 in 2 weeks, going for my Provisionals... pretty excited. I bought my 1990 Mazda 323 Astina for a grand a few months ago and shes not the coolest looking beast around. Its actually in at the auto electricians now being looked at for many various reasons.

I was wondering where in Newcastles the best place to take Astina for parts. I need the plastic rim lining that covers the sides of the windscreen, on both sides, my back quarter panel is pretty wrenched up too. Chip board cover in the hatch back is split on one side. Since I've bought it I've had many of problems with a broken immobilizor, it seems to screw with everything, the doors do not function properly to start with. Ive had to rewire my CD player head unit so that it gets power only from the ignition circuit because the eternal power lead doesnt work, so therefore my CD player has no memory, I cannot locate the wiring for the antenna?

What Id really love is a wing on the back, some real exhaust going on, some mags, those plastic rims to cover the sides of the windscreen, a proper sound system, I need to find lots of screws to fit the dash, theyre missing everywhere, I also need a washer to hold the front bumper on. When I first got the car I got a new head on the radiator and got it all cleaned out, new tyres and a complete registration. Really I'd love the interior and exterior painted provided I could tie up the loose ends to my car of which there seems to be so many.

Shes a sweet little car indeed, and I wanna do it up so any idea where I can buy so many things for these little devil? 1990 Mazda Astina 323, Auto. Everythings pretty much stock.

I'm thinking about removing the centre console around the handbrake and just ... getting a canvas worker to make me a cover, any ideas on that? My centre consoles pretty scabby, no screws keeping it down at the back and the ashtrays broken.

Love to get my sound system wired properly with new speakers in the front doors, amplifiers and a sub.

Man i was in the same boat with the plastic strips down the sides of the windscreen. I ended up getting them from a Mazda specialist wreckers down out at Smithfield (Sth Western Sydney). 80 bucks a piece.
