Hey all...

This is just a feeler to get a feel for the market, but if I was to make workshop space avaliable, at a small premium would anyone be interested?

- Umlimited access during the week, and on most weekends.
- Hopefully with hoist.
- The front of the warehouse will be a parts shop, with all the usual gear at very reasonable prices, and the ability to order any parts not in stock. (Immediate lines will include Lucas Brake Pads, ProRide 4x4 Suspension, AussieSuper Springs, Roil Automotive Products, Motul and Penrite Oils, with lots more coming online later on).
- Limited access to tools, BYO or have the owners strict permission to borrow theirs.
- The place has to be SPOTLESS come friday arvo, and clean throughout the rest of the week...
- Will most likely be in the Brendale area.

I'm probably talking about $50 a week ($10 a day! Most of you spend that on piss! :p) if you were to take out a 3 to 6 month contract, or a little bit more on a casual basis.

Get all those project cars that the missus/GF/Mother/Mother in Law/Any vauge form of scary bease that harrasses you about having a bucket of bolts lying around the house!!!

cant afford it sorry man... and I dont drink :P so I dont spend anything at all on piss.

That being said, casually say I could do it, like 15 bucks a day or something wouldnt be too bad.

Yet to be decided, but its looking like being in the new brendale business park behind Glenfords Tools...

Ian, yeah 15-20 bucks a day for workshop and hoist use was about what i was thinking...

Bourbon, i'm going to be leasing a warehouse/office to setup a low overheads below retail automotive retail outlet, for people such as yourselves, and motorsport enthusiasts who regularly buy products but should've have to be paying full retail on everything, ie, it doesn't take 5 Autobarn salespeople to sell you a bottle of motul for example...

So i'm looking at having products such as brake pads, fluids etc., and also a few other unique products that i have an association with...

It'll also be a place to run the rally team out of...

And i've got every intention of using it!!! Fri or sat night parties etc, and basically creating a lifestyle around my passion for rallying and cars...

So i'm looking at initially trying to split at least some of the rent until the business gets on its feet, and what better way to do it that as a workshop for project cars, with alot of the stuff you're gonna need (or can get in), right there..

Anyways, at the moment its all preliminary stuff, and i'm going through the figuires trying to make it work, if ya got any question pm me..

Cheers,
Greg

If only you were there when I was doing my conversion...

But yes. This would be cool. If your looking to setup any sort of computer networks or IT support in the place, I should be able to help you out there... From what i understand, your hiring a blank room and filling it with stuff yourself?
