as for who will win...

well, if mundine can withstand the punishment for the full fight, he'll win it on points...speed will mean he will land more scoring punches than green.

however, green's got some devistating weaponary... a decent hard hitting combo and it'll be all over....

I'll say green, by knock-out...mundine to go home with that big mouth of his wired shut.

You would be suprised how strong mundine actually is, he has a very strong right and with the speed he has he can land it often.

The talk is that the fight wont start until closer to 9-10pm

Pretty sure green is older then mundine so if it comes down to who is in their prime....

HOWEVER

i realise mundine can land a punch...but green has got one of the biggest hits going around...this is a bloke who, i just read today, spared with a guy WAY outside of his weight range, withstood punches that would kill a lesser man and went toe to toe with this guy for 7 rounds.

I dont think mundine has that sort of staying power....and Green only has to land one hit...

Green is the more complete fighter.... Mundine is a motormouth... yes he's fast...but with no plan, and nothing but his speed to fall back on...i reckon its gunna be an uphill battle.. i'll stand by green, by knockout.

alot of people lost bets at the pub I was at.....the odds were pretty big against mundine. The Green supporters were a good 80%. Just a casual observation.... nearly every mundine supporter at the pub cheering for mundine was ethnic or black, and the green supporters all caucasian....I couldn't help but feel an undertow of racial separation...

Green was the more aggressive fighter, but mundine was just too quick and his defence was inpenetrable.

Its not that I wanted mundine to loose due to race, its just I cant like the guy, hes unlikeable unless you DO make a race war out of it. And even then, they are probobly liking the fact that he is ethnic rather then liking him for who he is.

I think its part of his PR drive personally. Make the world want to see him get the crap beaten out of him, it will make for more spectators and therefore a more profitable career.

mundine was always the better fighter, his plan was to get green angry, and with such a meathead like green (he was first scouted to box when he was seen outside a pub in a street fight) it wouldn’t be hard to get him throwing punches left right a centre (like a 10 year old girl!) when the majority of those green was missing! Green was angry and out of his own control and mundine was calm placid and waiting for his opportunities to counter attack at the right time!

Mundine is not ethnic, he is aboriginal! I support him not because I am ethnic but because I am a st George supporter and mundine is a supreme athlete regardless of his mouth, and talking about his mouth some of the greatest boxers in history had a bigger mouth than mundine, im sure u all know which heavy weight boxing champ I am talking about!
